Junk right out the box and they don't care
Gonna cost more to get to the place to have repaired than to throw it away and buy another one,they want me to drive 4 hours,lose work,it would be nice if they would do the right thing and let me send this one to them and they send me a new one but I guess they know another one probably junk also,done with minn kota I do not recommend this headache to no one

Broken part
The head of the trolling motor broke off the shaft. There was a stress crack on the neck and it finally broke clean through.

I had to call back twice, and was on hold for a half hour each time. Disappointed that Minnkota doesn’t carry the eye pilot link remote. Have to buy a whole new trolling motor just because they don’t
I feel Minnkota could help me find the correct remote that I need for my Minnkota teriva pilot link. They told me Ill have to buy a new trolling motor and mine is only nine years old.

Pissed about screws, falling out of steering motor laying in housing
Call deer service technical support talk to Laurie. I open the string housing cover to see what was going on after watching a YouTube video.
The wires were broken at the motor and four little screws laying in the housing. I told her according to YouTube this is a common problem and she says that shes never heard of that to take three hours away from my house to try and get it fixed that means I travel a total of six hours and I dont have a trolling motor.
How long will I be down fishing? Im pissed Frank Russo.

To talk about feature changes on hand controlled motors
I bought my first trolling motor in 1994. A 27 # tiller handle.
In 96 I bought a 36# extreme model with variable speed and a kota stow mount. Which would kick up on me on higher speeds. I had the motor on the bow with the head reversed.
Is the Traxis mount any better with the head reversed on the bow? Because it reminds me of that kota stow mount.

Returned 4 different ones do not buy this model
I have went thru a total of 4 of these 2 would not pair and the other two were returns they just restapled! Boxes were missing contents and wires had plugs already put on the power lines right out of box!
Clearly returned and having major problems with this model.
I have almost 8 hrs drive time returning this junk and lost a month of fishing with no compensation for time lost not to mention taking my mount off and on every one and putting my power plug off and on every time to test . Unk straight reJ

Check for an I pilot conversion kit for a 2022 power drive
I contacted you this past winter about parts to upgrade my minnkota trolling motor. You told me I had to go through one of your dealers to order the parts.
I went through your dealer in Nipawin Saskatchewan. I paid for the parts on February 16th. Parts to come with another trolley motor to save on shipping. I ordered the upgrade to I pilot with remote.
I thought I ordered in enough time to have parts for fishing season. They are still not here and dealer has a tracking number but no idea when they will be shipped. I think 4 months is really unacceptable.
Could you please check into this as my wife and I are going on a fishing trip next week. Thank you in advance.

1st trip and craped out.
I paid $4600.00 bucks for an instinct 72. Mounts and labor to install $1000.00.
on the trailer it deployed and stowed 30 or more times no issues. Loaded up and traveled 213 miles by truck then 108 miles round trip by boat at 35 gal an hour to the Gulf of Mexico my self and 4 of my best customers. Accommodation meals cocktails fuel and other expenses for 4 days memorial week end $2000.00. Got to the first rig 4 other boats there all catching fish hit the deploy button it came up 6 to 8 inches and died it was jammed it sounded like it was trying to destroy it self.
I called the guy I bought it from [supper guy] he says he is 99% SHORE they will replace it. Yes I am PISSED.

Check for an I pilot conversion kit for a 2022 power drive
I ordered parts to upgrade my trolling motor to IPilot with new remote from your dealer in Nipawin Saskatchewan as you told me to do. I have paid for the order and dealer is waiting for another trolling motor to be shipped at the same time to save on shipping.
That was over 3 months ago and fishing season is here. Almost to the point of unacceptable.
Could you please check into this for me. Thank you in advance.
